  Do you pray over your meals? If so why? If not, when did you stop and why?

  to answer my question, no i do not pray over meals anymore exept for when i am with other jws i do a 15 second head bow for appearances sake.

  i just came to the realization god had nothing to do with whether i ate or not.

  many believers are starving right now whilst many non-believers are eating like kings.. also why should god give me food while he lets little children in dprk concentration camps starve to death.

  This is very troubling. As someone who battles with depression and negative thoughts regularly, I am disappointed and alarmed that their first words of advice aren't seek professional help. But that's not what they really want...because if a person does seek professional help and counseling, it just might open their eyes to what's really going on. Everything about this religion sickens me.

  my memory of singing the kingdom songs go back to when i was a child in the 1950's.

  they still hold a place in my memory and my heart.

  how can something that is so much a part of your childhood not stay embedded in your heart.?.

  They couldn't even plagerize songs well...they still sounded awful. EVERYONE sang the soprano line badly. It was like listening to a cat fight! Ugh. That was pure torture. I think they ough to do away with waterboarding and other forms of torture and play JW toons nonstop to inmates!!!

  I was up in Reading this past year for work when they had the convention....I went to pull into a car park near the courthouse and there was a man standing there with a big sign that said, NO JW PARKING. I chuckled.
